Windows 8.1 is available!

If we often focus on smartphones when it comes to updating, it should not be forgotten that the tablets are also now part of the mobility. In any case, those Windows 8 now have the right to their first major improvement: Windows 8.1.
Announced a long time, version 8.1 the latest operating system from Microsoft is now available for download on all tablet computers equipped. This is a major update which is a bit more complete than what Microsoft used to offer on its legacy systems with the so-called service packs. It is not a new OS, but a set of features that are more overdue now.Without further ado, to the update, simply go to the Microsoft website . Remember to make a backup of your documents before any operation ...
But then, what brings Windows 8.1? The biggest addition is obviously the return of the Start button, which gives you access to the famous screen tiles, which includes your programs, applications and other shortcuts. It is also possible, by right-clicking the Start menu, turn off the PC without going through several panels incomprehensible ... look back very welcome! It is also possible to configure the Start button to display only the installed applications and not all the tiles interface. Moreover, you can now boot directly to the desktop rather than through the Modern UI box. On Modern UI, function, Snap, it will allow you to view multiple applications at the same time, up to 4.
Our colleagues from PCWorld , who dissected the system fro readily acknowledge that it is less difficult to take in hand, the separation between UI and Modern office is less intrusive, but still note that all defects are far from being fixed: "Many options are not obvious to find, forcing the user to open a gaggle of menus to achieve its purpose." Version 8.1 of Windows thus significantly improves the experience of Windows 8 which was not that happy. Does it happen to convince reluctant preferring to Windows 7, many of the most successful Windows? Not sure.
