Bill Gates and Steve Ballmer cling to the board of Microsoft

Bill Gates and Steve Ballmer on the list of candidates for re-election to the Board of Directors of Microsoft, in November 2013.

The outgoing CEO of Microsoft, Steve Ballmer wants to remain a member of the board of the American publisher. According to SEC filings released to the general meeting of shareholders on November 19, 2013, he is also a candidate for re-election to the board.
The list of candidates includes eight other names, including the co-founder of Microsoft, Bill Gates that some investors would oust him as president of the board.

Microsoft had said it a few weeks ago, Steve Ballmer, aged 57, would step down as CEO next year, pending the appointment of his successor.
It will he a free hand to carry out its future strategy, if Bill Gates and Steve Ballmer would be confirmed to the Board of Directors of Microsoft?
Everything depends on the personality that will be chosen to lead Microsoft. Among the names back emphatically, despite denials, it appears the current boss of Ford, Allan Mulally.
