Apple iPad Air nearly 90% faster than iPad 4 in a first benchmark

The first benchmarks of the iPad Air show performance beyond those qu'offraient its predecessors. The explanation is obviously looking towards the new Apple smart A7.
Unsurprisingly, the new iPad, dubbed iPad Air, will be equipped with the same processor as the iPhone 5S. This is the Apple A7, a dual-core processor with the particularity to support the 64-bit architecture. The latter property has an impact or not on the performance of the chip, the iPhone 5S is in all cases to be much better than its predecessors on the different benchmarks. We are curious to see how the iPad will behave with the same chip. If the launch is only a few days, Primate Labs already gives us a little insight.
After launching the iPad 3 Geekbench Air and its predecessors, the scores indicate that the new tablet would be about 90% faster than the iPad 4. This would result in performance doubled, as indicated by the two scoreboards that you find below, but also as indicated by Apple in its announcement. Note that the processor of the iPad Air is clocked at 1.4 GHz while the iPhone 5S is limited to 1.3 GHz.
For its part, the iPad 2, which consist of input supply range of Apple after the launch of the iPad Air Friday November 1, provide performance five times lower than the latter. Remember that it will be priced at € 389. The new model will start him at a price of € 489.
