Earlier in the year, we heard of a new version of the Xperia Z1, Xperia Z1s, which presents itself as the international version of Xperia Z1F. Xperia Z1F which, I remind you, was released in Asia is the "Mini" version of the Xperia Z1. Today, the Xperia Z1S made a brief appearance on the official Sony site (as you can see in the screenshot below) before being quickly removed.
This screenshot shows that not only the Xperia Z1S does exist, but it will also be available on the international market unlike Xperia Z1F. However, no further details have been advanced.
As a reminder, many rumors that this future smartphone embark the same technical characteristics as the Xperia Z1F, ie a 4.3-inch screen with a HD resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels against a Full HD 5-inch Xperia Z1. Otherwise, it uses the same specifications as the Xperia Z1, namely a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz and backed by a 2 GB RAM, the famous Digital Camera 20.7 MP. It should also be resistant to water and dust, while sporting the same design as its big brother.
For now, the Xperia Z1S has not yet made official by the Japanese giant, but after this leak, we can be sure that the device will be announced in the coming weeks, or in the following days. We will therefore be much more attached to the actual characteristics of this device.
