Some tips to save energy on Android 4.4 KitKat

If you have recently had your Nexus 5, it is certain that you have not yet been able to turn all the features that are present on the version of Android 4.4 KitKat. Features that are certainly very interesting, but some have a direct impact on the battery life, which is why we offer the following tips to help you better manage this autonomy. It should be noted that these tips apply to all Smartphone or tablets that have Android 4.4 KitKat.
Using the battery meter KitKat
It is recommended that you first instead of using the battery bar that comes with Android 4.4, rather than downloading a third party application that can instead use more energy. The gauge makes it possible to give you detailed information about the battery usage information, applications that use the most battery power, and the time of use. To get there, you just have to click on the battery icon in the Quick Launch menu.

In some cases, your smartphone can not not get to go into a deep sleep because of some applications that are installed, or run in the background. You can remedy this by downloading an application that allows you to correct the problem as BetterBatteryStats. By cons, it is not yet functional on Android 4.4, and we expect an update for it.
The GPS
GPS is also a source of depletion of battery power when you use it constantly. However, Android has removed the ability to completely disable the version 4.4 KitKat. You can still use an energy saving mode if you're not a stickler for precision GPS. To do this, you must go to: Settings> Location> Fashion> and choose one of three options.

Do not synchronize unused accounts
Applications like Google Photo Sync or automatic synchronization of photos on Facebook are applications that need a lot of energy resource. If you want to have more autonomy, so you are asked to disable synchronization. You can also disable synchronization with mail accounts that you have little or no use.
Other quick tips
Finally, to maximize your battery life, you can also disable the LTE function when not in use, set the applications as DropBox to synchronize only WiFi, turn off the haptic feedback, and forget the widgets and Live Wallpaper.
