Sony confirms Android 4.4 update for Xperia KitKat Z, Z1 Xperiaand Xperia Z Ultra

Good news for Sony users, or some of them at least. The manufacturer has confirmed the update to Android 4.4 KitKat for its latest high-end models. Android 4.3 Jelly Bean will be rolled out from next month.
Following the launch of Nexus 5 and Android 4.4 KitKat that accompanied it, Sony was the first to communicate the updates that would result via his Twitter account. The tweet in question was still very vague, referring to this week for more information. The manufacturer has kept its promise and today brings us a few more details on its official blog .
First, know that Sony will do things in order, as far as possible at least. Mean by that that it will deploy firstly, next month, an update to Android 4.3 Jelly Bean for Z Xperia, Xperia ZL, ZR Xperia, Xperia Tablet Z Xperia MS Xperia Z Ultra Xperia Z1, but also for the Xperia T, TX and Xperia Xperia V still Android 4.1.
Only then happen KitKat Android 4.4 on a slightly smaller number of terminals. Only top models this year will be affected at first: Xperia Z, ZL Xperia, Xperia Tablet Z, Z Ultra Xperia and Xperia Z1.Sony has unfortunately not been able to clarify when begin deploying this update. However, this is good news for users of the affected models!
