A new molecule strength AIDS to self-destruct!

We have made tremendous progress towards the destruction of HIV , the virus that attacks the immune system and causes AIDS . However, this disease still exists, causing nearly two million deaths each year, in large part because the virus develops drug resistance mutations. And if ...
Researchers at Drexel University have thought a radically different approach ... They discovered a molecule that tricks the virus, prompting him to self-destruct BEFORE it infects cells.
Like all viruses, HIV works by turning healthy cells by inserting its DNA. They continue to proliferate, being unfortunately the virus. This is the Dual Action Virolytic Entry Inhibitor or DAVEI comes in.
It combines a component that modifies the cellular mechanism of HIV binding to a protein that tricks the virus by opening its protections. DAVEI selects the affected cells, the virus reacts as if it were attached to a cell and out of the container.
Thus, dispersing the components of the virus and preventing it to incorporate a cell DAVEI makes it harmless. Of course, more research is needed, but a targeted solution that mechanically inactive HIV could help fight the same drug-resistant viral strains.
